ORA has enough work experience in food distribution for the targeted beneficiaries under the SHOUHASRDO Program. ORA implement the SHOUHARDO Program from January-2006 to February-2010. The program area is in deep Hour area such as all union of Itna, one union of Tarail and four union of Karimgonj upazilla under Kishoreganj district. Total Program participants were 17,590. Out of that Poor & Extreme poor participants were 6790 no’s. ORA distributed the food items among the targeted extreme poor participants throughout the program period. The food items were 12 kg wheat, one and half liters of oil, and half kg pulse for each participant.  For better management of the food distribution ORA established 15 food distribution centers within the program area. ORA also formed Village Project Implementation Committee (PIC) & Union Project Implementation Committee (UPI) at fourteen union and provide training to the PIC members for better management of the distribution. ORA recruited five no’s food distributor and one Commodity officer for supervision and monitoring and guidance. The following materials are also provided to each distribution center.
