Organization for Rural Advancement (ORA) is a non-profitable and non-government development organization. ORA believes in a process-oriented development approach rather than a task-oriented one. ORA thinks that man is the centre for their development such as developing their potentialities and capabilities for personal, educational, social and other life-oriented development components for their future growth and development. In addition, ORA aspires for a society free from oppression, exploitation, and deprivation where every individual will be able to lead a happy and peaceful life by enjoying a rightful share of the resources belonging to the society. ORA also stresses increasing self-confidence, self-dignity, justice and fraternity in the process of development endeavours.
